My first plugin in wordpress plugin repo

May be nothing to be exicited. But its still a moment to remember. Today I have published my latest plugin in WordPress plugin repository. Though I have made two more open source plugins, I did not put them in the repo. But I wanted to put my latest plugin (Blog Post Reordering) to the repo to extend its users. As a result, yesterday I have applied for SVN access and today I got approval.

I have immediately uploaded the files. Now just waiting to get users’ feedback. As I have released RC1 of that plugin, I am waiting for users’ feedback to fix bugs. After fixing these, I will release the final 1.0.

  • I installed your reorder post plug-in and don’t know how to get it to work. There is a post I always want to be at the top of the page. Do I go into Edit post? What are the steps to follow. Thank you.

  • it has put all my posts in Ascending order………that is bad…….

  • I’m happy that you created this, but it’s a little buggy and may need to be updated. when I try to manually re-order the posts, nothing really happens. only the ascending/decending options work here.

please don’t stop, this is so necessary for wordpress!!

    Thanks 🙂

    hello buttr,
thanks for your time to comment! Yes I agree! Because after wordpress introduced sticky post feature, this plugin started breaking! but I could not manage time to fix it! And as wordpress upgrades, I guess it breaks further! :-s
